WHAT IT DOES

Traditionally engineered for those less confident making it ideal for E-file beginners as well as for experienced users due being recognised for its classic shape & soft contours. But in a stronger grit for those removing a robust product. This bit removes & reduces product whilst allowing for a smooth, even surface without aggressive cutting.

  • Debulks & removes product with controlled reduction

  • Supports less confident E-file technicians

  • Creates a smoother finish compared to speciality carbides

WHAT IT’S BEST FOR

  • Builder Gel Infills

  • Builder Gel Debulkiing

  • Infills of Hard Gel & Acrylic

  • Full Removal of Hard Gel & Acrylic

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT

Most coarse bits focus purely on removal speed.
The Poppy is engineered for those with confidence who have previously used the Penny or the Penultimate.

  • Rounded safety top reduces risk of touching the surrounding skin

  • Stronger coarse grit allows efficient removal with more speed & less pressure

  • Designed for smooth, predictable performance

  • Ideal for techs building confidence & those confident in structured e-file work

This is a control-first coarse bit, not a high-aggression remover.

COATING:

Silver Nickel Coating  – Classic finish

This version features our standard Silver coating designed for:

  • Affordability

  • Lifespan of 2-3 months (use & storage dependant)

  • A smoother glide across the product

Coating best for: Technicians requiring multiples, trying out a new style or a budget friendly option.

WHO IT’S FOR

  • Qualified E-File Technicians

  • Beginner to Advanced skill level

  • Techs performing gel polish removals and gel infills

Not suitable for:
Untrained users without e-file education.

HOW TO USE

  • Working  at 22,000–25,000 RPM

  • Use light, controlled pressure

  • Work from cuticle area to free edge in long strips, not back and forth

  • Keep the bit moving to avoid heat concentration

Not suitable for:
Filing the natural nail, use on product only.

SYSTEM PAIRING

For best results, use as part of a structured removal system:

  • Step 1: Poppy Coarse – Removal/Infills

  • Step 2: Refine the remaining product using a Sanding band in 240 or 180 grit

  • Step 3: Follow with cuticle work

PRO TIP

The Poppy Coarse should not be used to remove gel polish with a standard base or light painted on builders. But to infill, Debulk & remove heavier products.
For lighter options try the Penultimate Fine or Penny Medium.
